We suggest calling before just to make sure that our groomers are still in the store. We usually have groomers available from 9 am to 5 pm.
For the safety of all pets that come to our facility, we do fully utilize kennels. We do have some pets that are not good with other dogs or cats, using the kennels allows for the prevention of any pets getting hurt! However, pets only stay with us for a short time and are only in the kennels for drying (if they don`t like hand dryer) or waiting to be picked up!
Although it does state a vaccination has been given, it does not give us an expiration date. Any form (picture, hard copy, email, etc.) that has the expiration date is approved for rabies verification. Unfortunately, though, the rabies tag alone does not work for the rabies proof.
Nope! Any breeds, shapes, and sizes we welcome with open arms. We love all pets, regardless of their breed!
Yes, we do! Any services available (minus nail painting, and dremeling) for dogs are available for cats! This means that we offer nail trims, baths, ear cleaning, haircuts, and anal gland expression for cats!
While we do ask that you come around 5 minutes early for your appointments to get you and your pet checked in, we ask that all customers bring their pets no earlier than 10 minutes prior to their appointment time.
While we do ask you to arrive 5 minutes early to your appointment, up to five minutes late is always accepted. After 5 minutes we do call to ensure that you are still coming for the appointment. After 10 minutes late, we are unable to guarantee your appointment and whether we are still able to take your pet for grooming is at the discretion of the groomer.
While there is a typical range for grooming, we do ask that all clients be understanding that we are working with animals. Not all appointments take the same amount of time as pets do have bad days and they do not always like certain things done. We always take our time if they are uncomfortable or stressed out by certain parts of grooming which may extend grooming time. On a regular basis, grooming typically takes anywhere from one to two hours. Of course, though, with bigger dogs and extensive services, that time can fluctuate!
Unfortunately, pet parents are not allowed in the grooming area with their pets. Pets love their owners very much and typically get too excited to be with their owner which can make grooming unsafe. We ask that all pet parents refrain from talking to their pets when coming to pick them up from grooming. Doing this can get your furbaby quite excited making it difficult and dangerous for the groomer to finish their finishing touches.
We take any products back within thirty days of purchase as long as the item is in its original condition, tagged, and you have the receipt from the purchase. If any product is destroyed, ripped, or no tag is present, we are unable to do the return.
We have several ways to book the apt but the most common are calling the store, booking in person, or messaging us through our website. We are also on Facebook, Instagram, and Yelp in which you can contact us and schedule an appointment through there as well.
Unfortunately, there are typically no same day appointments. We are a schedule-based facility therefore we ask all clients to book in advance. We are usually booked out a minimum of one week so calling in advance or rebooking after your grooming appointment is always recommended.
All nail trims are walk-ins, if it is your first time bringing in your pet, we ask that you bring their rabies for us to keep on file. If you are aware of your pet not liking for nail trims, we ask that you do call just to ensure we have multiple hands to help if needed!
We are always happy to give your furbaby breaks if they are getting too overwhelmed with a certain aspect of grooming. We also do have at least three people in the store as well to help hold, comfort, or work with pets who are nervous/anxious. While we cannot force any dog to love grooming, we do understand that some will never favor it, however, we strive to make their grooming experience as comfortable and positive as possible.
We do not turn any aggression levels away, however, we do ask that you alert us prior to the day of the groom so we can ensure that the groomer is aware and can use all safety measures for both themselves and your pet. We fully understand that certain pets absolutely require some form of grooming and without it, their health can be affected. Our entire team is fully prepared to put their best effort into working with you and your pet to get their needs taken care of, regardless of any fears/aggression.
Of course! We understand that some people prefer to bring them together as it makes the parents lives easier, and it can be less stressful for the pets if they have their friends with them! If you let us know that you need to bring in more than one furbaby for your appointment day when scheduling we are happy to accommodate!
If it is your first time coming to our specific location, then yes! We need their rabies paperwork for their first appointment or when it expires, we do need the updated paperwork. Otherwise, you do not need to bring anything with you to your appointment!
We ask that you pick up you pet within an hour of us notifying you that they are finished. When pets are at our facility, they typically will not drink water and do not have food to eat. They are also not taken to go to the bathroom as we do not want to risk any pets getting off their leash. An hour time frame allows for pets to get home quickly to eat lots of snacks and go potty when they need to!
Add on services are priced the same for all pets such as nails, anal glands, ear cleanings, special shampoo, teeth brushing, and nail polish. Baths are typically priced by size and type of coat. Mini and Full grooms are priced out by breed or weight if a breed type is not known!
We love all of our happy customers from Wesley Chapel and nearby areas including Lutz, Land O' Lakes, Pebble Creek, St Leo, Zephyrhills, Tampa, New Tampa, and more!
